What our Peer Helpers do
Our Peer Helpers are a group of high school student who take time out of their day to help the elementary students with classwork, to have someone to talk to, or play with. We put on various activities/events throughout the year. We put on an Elementary Halloween Carnival and Haunted Hallway. The Peer Helpers put on a Christmas Fun Day, Anti-Bullying Awareness Week, and Charger Kindness Day in the spring.
What it means to be a Peer Helper
Words from a Peer Helper Member: "It means a lot, to both the elementary students and the high school students. The elementary students have someone to look up to and know there is someone there for them. The high school students get the satisfaction of know they have made an impact on someone's life."
